Welcome back to LIVE Arts for the 2022-23 School Year. LIVE Arts is a dynamic distance education arts program for students in Grades 1 to 9. The program supports the Saskatchewan Arts Education Curriculum and is delivered via the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education LIVE Network (CommunityNet).

LIVE (Live Interactive Video Education) Arts is now accepting submissions for guest artists for our 2023/2024 season broadcasts.

LIVE Arts 2022-23

LIVE Arts has been bringing artists to your classrooms since 2005. LIVE Arts offers four broadcasts tailored to meet curriculum outcomes for Grades 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8. Teachers sign up for grade-specific broadcasts, then professional artists connect simultaneously with teachers and students in multiple schools across the province of Saskatchewan for a LIVE experience with arts education.

    • September 21-22: Hip Hop Music with Zhe the Free. 
    • November 24-25: Beading with Justice Rain Noon
    • December 13-14: Story and Movement with Chancz Perry (French Speaking Program)
    • January 26-27: Theatre/Improv with Adreanna Boucher
    • February 16-17: Film/Photography with Esperanza Espitia (French Speaking Program)
    • March 29-30: Photo-Based Drawing with Gabriela García-Luna
    • April 5-6: Poetry with Cooper Skjeie
    • May 31-June 1: Hip Hop Dance with Amanda Murray
