Program Description
Join Julien Hamon-Fafard as we dip our toes into the world of clay. He will lead your class through some of the basics of clay using accessible materials and a play-oriented approach to creation. Your students will even end the lesson well on their way to finishing their first clay project!

Artist Biography
Julien is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus in ceramics, woodworking, and bronze casting. Julien’s work ranges from hand-held ceramic pieces and abstract sculptural vessels to full-size wooden canoes and hand carved canoe paddles. His work references his upbringing on a farmstead, where people, livestock, and wildlife cohabited.
