Program Description

Get into a dancing mood as Rena takes your class on a journey into her culture and the dances she grew up learning. The workshop will incorporate individual movement and group dance as we learn more about Azerbijan.

Artist Biography

Rena Farajova is a cultural educator, choreographer, and co-founder of the Azerbaijani Cultural Association of Regina. Having grown up immersed in traditional Azerbaijani dance, she now shares her passion through workshops, performances, and community programs that inspire curiosity, celebrate cultural heritage, and help children and communities connect through the universal language of movement.
