Program Description
Join the SK based theatre artist Nathan Coppens as he lets us in on how his neurodivergence has shaped his creative process. Engage with him in some theatre games as each student uses their own unique perspective to create their own scene.

Artist Biography
Nathan Coppens (he/him) is a Mad/Crip actor/musician/playwright/puppeteer/producer. In a career spanning twenty years, and five provinces, he has worked with an expansive list of theatre companies. He is the recipient of the Colleen Bailey Memorial Fund through the Saskatchewan Foundation for the Arts and was nominated a 2025 Arts for Celebration Award through SK Arts for his work on I Have No Idea.
He is the playwright/co-star/songwriter and frequent producer of I Have No Idea, a play about adult ADHD, which has played to audiences across Saskatchewan and led to numerous people getting diagnosed and getting the support they needed. I Have No Idea has changed family dynamics and increased understanding of ADHD and people who have it, and been a voice for neurodivergent people in general.
